Kelly Rich began her healing studies as a teenager and is constantly hungry for learning with new and old teachers. She holds a B.S in Health Science + Holistic Health, is a certified 200-hr Kripalu yoga teacher, meditation + spiritual guide, a Reiki Practitioner, writer, speaker, and a student at the Kripalu School of Ayurveda working towards becoming an Ayurveda Health Counselor and a 500-hr Ayurveda Yoga teacher. In her free time she enjoys culinary arts, crafts medicinal tinctures + jewelry, and studies energy medicine. Kelly believes all great teachers have their own inspiring teachers–some of her most influential experiences have been guided by Coby Kozlowski, Jennifer Reis, Toni Bergins, Dr. Rosy Mann + Sagel Urlacher.
Kelly believes yoga is for any body and every body. She encourages her students to explore the magic of staying with sensations, thoughts + feelings while finding an “edge”–a place beyond comfort without pain. Kelly is known for her encouraging voice and teaching her students how to LIVE yoga, on and off of the mat. You can find her leading local classes + workshops, near + far retreats, as well as seasonal outdoor yoga at Bug Light Park in South Portland, Maine.
