Sadashiva Stavrum

Sada was introduced to Ayurveda in 2009 and was encouraged to practice Ayurveda for self-care by his primary teacher, Shambhavi Sarasvati. In 2015, at his teacher’s promptings, he enrolled and completed the Kripalu School of Ayurveda’s 650hr Ayurvedic Health Counselor program in order to learn the skills necessary to offer Ayurveda skillfully to the public.

In 2017, longing for more formal schooling and mentorship, he began studying with Jessica Vellela through the America Ayurvedic Academy and completed the Svastha Acharya program. He is currently engaged in helping Jessica and her team pilot the Ayurveda Acharya program.
As a practitioner, Sada’s goal is to help each client discover their natural ability to adapt skillfully to the ever-changing circumstance that is life. Through lifestyle advice and use of herbs, when necessary, Sada educates each client how to live within the natural rhythms of life. Sada wants to empower each client to understand how their unique constitution is showing up and how to manage their health based on that constitution, the season, locality, stage of life, digestive capacity and desire (and more!).

Outside of clinical practice, you can find Sada studying with Shambhavi Sarasvati, playing music, working out or watching sci-fi movies.
